How to raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer, and what happens next.
Tarun Valluri, Proprietor Email: privacy@waveswebstudio.in Postal address: Plot no. 19, Venkatramana Colony Phase-1 Dammaiguda, Hyderabad, Telangana - 500083, India Phone: +91 7981596249 This is the same person named as our grievance officer under Rule 5(9) of the SPDI Rules, 2011, and as our contact person for data protection matters under the DPDP Act, 2023.
Anything you're unhappy with in how we've handled you or your data, including: — A data-protection matter: how we collected, used, shared, or retained your personal data, or a rights request we handled badly or not at all. — A service matter: quality, delays, or communication on an engagement. — A billing matter: an invoice, a GST line item, or a payment dispute. — A consumer matter: anything covered by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including if you accepted a quotation and paid online.
Email privacy@waveswebstudio.in. Include: your name, the email or phone number you've been using with us, a description of what happened, and what you'd like us to do about it. If it relates to a specific form submission or engagement, mention the approximate date — it helps us find the record faster.
We acknowledge every grievance within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days. Where a data-protection grievance takes longer, the statutory outer limit is 90 days under Rule 14(3) of the DPDP Rules, 2025. Where a consumer matter takes longer, the statutory outer limit is one month (30 days) under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. We publish a tighter window than either limit and will tell you if we expect to miss it.
1. Us, first. Section 13(3) of the DPDP Act, 2023 requires you to give us the chance to resolve a data-protection grievance before approaching the Data Protection Board of India. 2. Data Protection Board of India (data-protection matters). The Board was established on 13 November 2025 but, as of the date of this page, has not yet notified a public complaint mechanism. Current official guidance is published by MeitY at https://www.meity.gov.in/data-protection-framework. 3. National Consumer Helpline (https://consumerhelpline.gov.in) or e-Daakhil (https://edaakhil.nic.in) — for consumer matters, including anything related to a payment made on this website. 4. MSME Samadhaan (https://samadhaan.msme.gov.in) — this portal is for delayed-payment disputes raised by a registered micro or small enterprise against its buyer. Since Waves Web Studio is the Udyam-registered enterprise, this route applies if we are owed a delayed payment by a client, not the other way around. 5. National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (https://cybercrime.gov.in) — for cyber incidents.
We keep a record of every grievance we receive, the action we took, and our response, so we can show — to you or to a regulator — exactly how a complaint was handled.
